The University Travel Program 

When traveling on University business, the University of Massachusetts encourages travelers to book through one of the University's preferred travel agencies, and to use our contracted airlines whenever possible.  By utilizing our preferred agencies, travelers have access to discounted fares from our negotiated contracts and the University will be better positioned to negotiate deeper discounts in the future. 

The benefits available to University travelers by streamlining University business travel reservations through Egencia and the Travel Collaborative Company agencies include:

• Maximizes discounts through hundreds of fare options for a single trip, including University negotiated fares
• Expedites the travel booking process by reducing shopping time
• Campus & University level data can be utilized to, report program savings, negotiate stronger contracts
• Provides reporting on unused tickets
• Provides location services in the event of an Emergency
